Creepers

Creepers are everywhere. In all the fruit trees, on rocks and especially in the dirt. Don't touch the dirt because you'll wake the creeper eggs. They'll be all over you. First they eat your energy, then they carry you off, bury you in a hole and take over your body. If you see someone or something with orange eyes, kill them. Or run. The creepers have them.

Atrum Trees

The only place safe from creepers is an atrum tree. They are full of poison.

"Kiss the Poison Tree"

Don't let the creepers take you. If you can't get away, you must kiss the poison tree. That is the last escape.

Safetree

Safetree is the biggest forest town. There is an elevated road made from atrum planks between Safetree and Forge Falls.

Forge Falls

Forge Falls is the only town that is built on solid ground. The bedrock is kept clean, and the atrum fence is kept fresh. Forge Falls is not like the woods. In Forge Falls it is possible to believe that you are safe from creepers and creeper-mad creatures. Forge Falls is the place to buy and sell metal, because it has a forge. Also, they grow their own plants without earth in the Mist Gardens.

Treasure Hunters

There is no way to get new metal or clay. All metal, and all clay things, are found in the ancient places. If you can survive the ancient places, and bring back a few useful things, you can become rich.

The Characters

Keller Atratus

Keller is the only person who strides the trees by himself. It's a wonder he's still alive and in possession of his wits.

Azalie Atratus

The witch of Safetree. She learns a skill whenever she can, and teaches whoever will listen. She knows a little magic, along with her many practical skills. She makes oils, soap, yarn, alcohol, clean compost, medicines, teas, and preserves.

Blythe Beacon

Blythe has spent most of her life working at the forge in Forge Falls. Her brother is missing.

Saber Whitledge

Saber is a Safetree stiltwalker. He inspects the town's foundations and retrieves dropped items. It is probably the most dangerous town job.
